PPC meets RJMEC to discuss possible schedule of monthly plenary sessions

The Chairperson of the Political Parties Council (PPC), Hon. Eng. James Akol Zakayo Dhiak, hosted the Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (RJMEC) delegation at the Council’s Head Office to discuss the possible schedule for the RJMEC monthly plenary sessions on electoral-related institutional prerequisite reports.

The Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission is constituted under Chapter VII of the R-ARCSS and is responsible for monitoring and overseeing the implementation of the Revitalised Peace Agreement and the mandate and tasks of the RTGoNU, including the adherence of the Parties to the agreed timelines and implementation schedule. In case of non-implementation of the mandate and tasks of the RTGoNU, or other serious deficiencies, the RJMEC shall recommend appropriate corrective action to the RTGoNU. transitional institutions under the Revitalised Agreement (R-ARCSS).
